She Wore Skeletons Like Wolve
She wore skeletons like wolves. Black, sheep’s skin dyed in squid ink. Her face was weathered leather. She had trouble blinking, like her eyes no longer wanted to move. There were colored seats, indigo and emerald, something out of a movie.
“Time for your medication, Mrs. Heeds.”
Blue and white pills. Capsules full of botched elixirs. They kept her going. The door never made much noise except when the men in the lab coats took time to visit.
